During the last 25 years djs around the world have been able to rock the party just by playing vinyl. Nowadays many djs believe that digital music is overtaking vinyl due to sound quality that is perceived to be better, lighter record bag to carry, etc. But what about new talent and new releases? The vinyl release is the best spotlight for an artist, without vinyl releases will the scene keep on evolving like the last 20 years?
And what about the dj profession in 5 years? Maybe pre-recorded mixes using software will be played, and no further human feeling and creativity will be needed, so what will the djs be there for?
Vinyl is something that makes a dj real.
